Twilight fans and animation.....

So as you can tell im having a film and youtube obsession this week!

Thought I would share a couple of vids that are floating my boat this week...

The first one is hilarious, well if like me your an avid Twilight fan then you might also think so aswell :) its basically a spoof so even if you hate it you can take the piss :)

came across it on youtube and I love it.....

ahahaha sorry I just watched it again before I posted, its hilarious!

also, my beautiful best friend Katie linked me to this last night, its by an animator called Barry Pilling as far as I can tell! There 2 of his vids I want to show you that are so beautiful and amazing, and 1 thats down right hilarious! So here we go....

The first one is animation along to the song First Love my the Maccabees, it suits the song amazingly and its such an amazing video..

The 2nd is animation to Always on my Mind by Elvis, I think I like this one better although it not as clean cut as the other one!

and finally this is a 3rd one of his videos and depicts his interpretation of the creation of the world, see it through its bloody hilarious, hope you enjoy it as much as we did :)

Thanks Katie for the link :)

Hope you enjoyed all the vids tonight :)

Love Love xx

Potter, Transformers 2 and Night at the Museum

.... So tonight I was thinking about 3 films im pretty excited for coming up in the next month/month and a bit!

I thought I would share the trailers with you! The 4th Potter trailer is out and it looks ksljekwljhfjdbvnjdkzbvkjas AMAZING!

wow its out on the 17th July and I absolutely CANNOT wait wooo! NOT GOING TO EXPLAIN PLOT-LINE, YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE BOOK.......... BUT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW GO ON IMDB.COM :)

Also the Transformers sequel is also out on the 26th June! as far as I can get from the trailer without wanting to know too much before it comes out ....

TRANSFORMERS 2

Sam goes to college, doesnt take bumblebee as maybe hes getting a bit too old for a robot car, as hes unpacking and a piece of the Allspark that was apparently destroyed in movie 1, is discovered, soon after sam begins to have visions of some symbols which turn out to be in a pyramid and could be hiding some sort of info/weapon/other bad for earth kind of thing, that the rescued Megatron wants, along with revenge. Sam is dragged back into this shit along with the Autobots to save the day.

ACE! cant wait, first one is in top 10 films of all time so this is going to be gooooood! :)

and Lastly a little guilty pleasure I harbor, the sequel to Night at the Museum is out this month! I cant wait, fans of the 1st one will lovingly remember the 2 little scoundrels Jed and Octavius (i.e. mini Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan). Well these 2 get wrongly transported to the wrong museum and its up to Larry to save them, taking along the magic Egyptian plate with him, he brings to life the residents of the Smithsonian Institute!

So enjoy, check them out when they come out and tell me what you think!

love love! xx

PHOTOSHOOT THE FINALE!

So the photoshoot happened, it was a really fun sessions, totally random if im honest we just decided that we could hold out for the weather any longer!

I had a couple of themes, the first was sort of a fairy tale theme with beautiful dresses, huge shoes and lots of greenery! the next was a alice in wonderland theme, that consisted of sitting in katies cattery taking pictures in small box like setting. The last one was decidedly more private with it being an underwear theme! I will refrain from putting those pictures up until they have been properly edited!

So here are some my favourites:

Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop, yes yes yes!!

So the fabulous designer, fashion illustrator and founder of the legendary Biba company, Barbara Hulanicki has designed a wonderful and magical collection for Topshop.

Launching at the end of April in selected stores, the fabulous small piece collection of tshirts, dresses, scarves and hats combines a colour palate of coral, mint, white and dusky pink. They show several patterns of a strange cartoon, flinstones like prints and whimsical, fantasy illustrations adorning the garments.

This is some of the collection....

Sorry for the delay.....

God I have been awful, its been nearly 10 days or something since my last post! that is awful! Well seen as I'm really really bogged down with uni work at the moment I'm going to make this short and sweet.

I am currently in the middle of a project to create a magazine aimed at the 16-21 age range, I sort of want it to be a mixture of nylon, teen vogue and Elle girl (not in print anymore). Now this magazine will be primarily female orientated but could be unisex really, it wont have anything to do with mainstream celebrity, female problems and all that malarkey and will simply a fashion and entertainment magazine for the more creative and fashion forward teenager.

Now this blog is all about asking for some advice on the project and to see if anyone has any advice about it at all! I would appreciate it so much and anyone can leave a comment and it can even me anonymous if you want it to be.

Sorry about the short and sweet blog this time guys, I promise a better more detailed one is in store once im a little less stressed and a bit more up to date!

But please help if you can do! :)

Thanks guys love ya!

Cow Cow Cow..... The lock in

On Thursday night I had the wonderful pleasure of driving my way round Nottingham's crap road system in an attempt to attend the lovely Cow Student Lock In,

Cow is a vintage shop in Nottingham, but is extra special as it isnt the ridiculously expensive prices of a 'vintage' shop (although its not quite charity shop prices either). However, it is set out like a vintage shop with everything being individually hung up and even sectioned.

Thursday night they held a student lock in whereupon arrival you recieve a ticket that allows an alcoholic beverage (they also gave away free red bull all night), the chance to browse the rails late at night, listen to a dj playing a set of pretty good electro/dance music and 10% discount on every purchase. All in all they delievered well, I was impressed and even bagged myself the most amazing jumper dress!

Here are a few picture I took last night, not many as I got a bit too excited about the clothes but have a look anyway...

And my purchase for the evening... (£12.60!)

Photobucket

All in all it was a good night, the beer wasnt very nice, the red bull was, the tunes were good, it wasnt crowded and I got something beautiful which I love!

If you are ever in Nottingham check the place out at 2 George Street, Notts NG1 3BE (also there is branches in Birmingham and Sheffield that I know of it you want to check those out to!)

Speak to you soon guys! Love ya!

Madhatter Madness.....Johnny Depp

From the new Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film, out 2010 one of the first pictures to be released from the film is Johnny Depp as The Madhatter, with amazing other characters such as Matt Lucas as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and Helena BC as the Queen of Hearts this film promises to be another dark and satisfying masterpiece from one of my favourite directors :) I cannot wait!

Enjoy......

Paris Paris Paris

As well as my huge obsession with New York at the moment and my imminent visit to the big apple in March for ones birthday (and various other things), there is one other city that has captured my heart like no other and that is the beautiful city of Paris.

I had the pleasure of visiting the city last february for Premiere Vision and had a wonderful 5 days there which only served to make me fall more deeply, madly and sincerely in love with it.

The beautiful streets and alleyways, lead to treasures and the most beautiful restaurants, catch Le Tango Du Chat- 6, Rue Saint Severin if you can do its in the Latin Quarter near the Notre Dame de Paris and it has the most beautiful food and an even better waiter who will keep a party of young ladies entertained all night!
Smaller and quieter branches of American Apparel lurk in various areas around the city (also slightly cheaper) and wonderful shops filled with trinkets and accessories to melt your heart and reach for the wallets! I could have wandered down those streets all day and all night, and even though our hotel was in the ghetto, it was surrounded by an outdoor market on various days and it was within minutes to the nearest metro stop.

Another place that captured my heart whole and completely was Versailles, I am in love with the tale of Marie Antoinette, the ultimate party girl whose expensive lifestyle as the Queen of France brought upon her own downfall. If you visit Paris it is also worth a visit to Versailles which isnt far away and im pretty sure regular transport links are available into the town.
I didnt get a chance to visit the town itself, but the Palace is amazing in its own right, it is still being restored but what they are doing to it is incredible and well worth the wait when its finished.

I am planning to visit this city again this year, preferably when its a bit warmer I can sit in the palace gardens and eat cake :)

Anyway there is my love for Paris and Versailles in one small and rather picture perfect blog, feel free to comment and share your thoughts :)
